nglish Custom Homes was founded by Randy English. Randy, the son of an Air Force Colonel, was born in Los Angeles and moved frequently. Randy's drive for success and achievement began at an early age when as a member of the Boy Scouts in Tennessee, he quickly achieved the rank of Eagle Scout by age 13. Later, in Atlanta, GA, he graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering specializing in Telecommunications Design with a minor in Psychology from one of the world’s premier engineering schools, The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Randy spent the next 18 years as an executive with Nortel Networks.

His responsibilities over the years ranged from new product design to sales management. His progression into home building resulted from a desire to create not only beautiful and elegant homes but ones that are structurally and mechanically as close to perfect as possible. His company now has more than 15 years of combined building experience. The skills and talents that Randy developed while working with Fortune 500 clients are now applied to working with his custom home clients. He is fanatically detail oriented, thorough and dedicated to excellence. Randy only works with the best subcontractors, the most innovative and talented architects and the premier area realtors. All of his efforts are prompted by one desire—a high level of customer satisfaction. Owning an English Custom Home is owning a piece of happiness and joy. Randy lives in west Austin with his wife of 19 years and their two children. He is active in church, school and local community activities.
